Privacy Policy

What we collect

• The email address you type into a download or waitlist form.
• If you choose to give them: first name, role, and industry.
• The exact consent wording you saw, the version of it, and the time you ticked the box.
• The time you confirmed your address, and a keyed hash of your network address (a scrambled value, not the address itself) used to limit abuse.
• Which download or page you asked from, and the campaign tag on the link that brought you, if it had one.

We set no cookies for visitors and run no advertising trackers, analytics, or outside scripts on this site. Like any web host, our hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs that include visitor network addresses. We do not use them.

Why

To send you the download you asked for, to email you occasional notes on integration after an acquisition (about once a month), and to keep a record that you asked. We do not sell your address and we do not share it with anyone to market to you.

How it works

We email you once to confirm your address. Nothing else is sent until you press the confirm button, and the link works for 48 hours. If you never confirm, we delete the record, normally within a week. Every email after that has an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

• Confirmed subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete the record.
• Unsubscribed addresses: kept on a do not email list so we never mail you again, until you ask us to delete the address.
• Abuse control records (your address, the form used, the time, and the hashed network address): 30 days.
• Backups: the database is copied each night and the 14 newest copies are kept. A record we delete leaves the backups within 14 days.

Where it is kept

On a server at our hosting provider, Hostinger, in the United States. Mail is sent through the same provider. Only the site owner can see the list.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email, or write to hello@buildingresults.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days, and deletion is done by hand.

Children

This site is for business readers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the effective date at the top of this page.
